Making a difference

Collectively, the group is quite knowledgeable on this subject and is keen to share what it knows, and what it´s continuing to learn, with the rest of the village.

It´s aim is to simply raise people´s awareness of the negative effects of Climate Change and to demonstrate how Mawdesley can reduce these effects by some modest investments and simple lifestyle changes.

It´s aim is not to alarm or lecture anyone, but simply to encourage everyone to make a real start and gradually make a difference.

If successful, this initiative will hopefully be taken up by other villages in the area, until everyone is making an even bigger difference.

Finally, for those of you who are not quite ready to save the earth, there´s also a benefit that´s closer to home - these helpful hints could reduce your energy bills and the amount of waste you need to dispose of. So, please watch this space and study the notice boards and all will eventually be revealed.
